Dr Mayet listens to what you have to say and gives advice in a clear professional manner. He explains medication in a way I can understand and the reasons for prescribing it. Even though the appointment has only lasted 4-5 minutes it never feels rushed and I feel positive about the diagnosis when I leave. Thank you.

Another year of great care from Dr. Mayet. He was the duty doctor when I called Fern House Surgery last July. He came out straight away and arranged for the ambulance service to rush my wife to hospital.
He is always very attentive to my concerns when I visit him in his surgery. I regard him as a trusted friend and a good doctor. Six years as his patient with good improvement in my general heath as a result.

Dr Mayet listens to you and takes into account your personal views which I found very refreshing I felt he was concerned for my health and cared. He is always happy to spend time explaining things.

Very reassuring when we had concerns about our new baby. First time he referred us to confirm the diagnosis. Later on he was empathetic about a further query, sharing personal experience appropriately and suggesting options for management in future with timescales. He was clear that there wasn't one "right way" for our daughter but a series of choices, and made us feel confident about our choice not to medicate for now in the knowledge we can try things in future if necessary. Also willing to quickly discuss a concern of mine during the same appointment which saved time and anxiety. Friendly manner with clear, professional communication style. Highly recommended. I can't think of anything to improve!
